Ruins is an interactive exhibit meant to garner attention and interest in art history. Influenced by posthumanism and the digital age, this project explores the ongoing tension between art and technology. Ruins challenges notions of how the art of antiquity should be presented and taught, transforming it into a puzzle for the viewer to solve rather than an image for them to view. The art of the past are digitally altered, presented as fragments, distorted visions of history that must be examined and unpacked. Our ancestors left us no answers, only ruins. I encourage you to examine these pieces with me and ponder their role in the human experience.
